I'm actually rather insulted that you'd think I'd KEEP a fish even half her size in 25 gallon.
She was raised and lived in a 75, I moved everyone to the 25 until the 75 was clean of the hundreds of little worms NOT Planaria worms. Unfortunately, while ready to go back in the next day, she died the afternoon prior.

Insulted??? Did I say you were keeping it in the 25 permenantly? You said right in your post it was a QT...why do you think I was infering that the 25 was it's permenant home?

That's a big fish for a little tank, even for a few days, especially with other fish....it may simply have been to much bioload for a tank that size...

You didn't answer, was the small tank cycled? Did you use the water/media from the bg tank?

I didn't use water, as it was filled with little worms, but it was treated and the filter is cited for a 55 gallon tank, and I filled with with some bioballs and ceramic thingies from the filter, and also put a bag of ammochips in as well. There were small, daily water changes and minimal feeding to keep load down, as I know it's alot.

All of the other fish are fine now, and then only showed stress around the time when Moxie died, which is why I concluded that I ODed with the medication.
