I have had my Channel cat for about a week, week and a half and he was all for eating when I first got him, but since time has gone on he has not been eating. He is in with my other cats and the tank gets fed thawed fresh tilapia, cichlid gold sinking pellets, and earthworms. Should I try bloodworms or massivore? HELP!

How long has he not been eating. Everyonce and awhile my channel would go a few days without eating up to a few weeks even. Try massivore kinda weird that worms aren't working. Frozen shrimp. Mine only ate the cooked shrimp after I'd thaw them out

i would say don't worry at this stage-cats can take several weeks to acclimatise to a new tank/pond - just keep an eye out for signs of ill health and check water parameters including oxygen. If everything looks OK and there is no bullying then wait it out.

It's only been a couple days, he may b eating I just don't see it, and he doesn't seem to show it either. I will keep an eye on him, and keep you guys updated.

what is tank size, stock list including fish sizes, filtration, water params by a quality test kit? it may just be that he is on strike but usually they would do that when first introduced to the tank not eat after in the tank and then go on strike. how long has tank been running, how long have all fish been in it?

Tank is a 125, been up for 3 months, inhbitantsinclude what's in my sig, all parameters turn out regular. Running a AC110 on it.

I'd try the bloodworms, I never had a fish that refused them so far.

(That is a NICE growout for those cats btw!!)

what are the fishes sizes and how long has each been in the tank..... what is regular params?

all about 4" have been in the tank for about 2 weeks.

ammonia : 0
Nitrite : 0
Nitrate : 0
pH : 7.8

is there anything else I should be testing?
