This is one of my most favorite Tanks in the world. Yes you made my worlds favorite tank list.

Thanks for sharing.

Right:D

Mad ness... Which species is the ATF with Orangeish fins? Snout is a little curved. This is Brevis correct? You have Goliath, Vittatus and Brevis in the tank right. Do you happen to know the collection point of each ATF species??

And your tank is awesome:drool:.

thanks guys... the ultimate goal here is a sustainable cohab of atf / armatus all over 20inches. and what ever else i can cram in there with out disturbing the peace. A lot of ATF and Payara have been lost past couple years for various reasons (size differences/fish density/food/fish combinations). I've lost count, over 30fish in total. That's not including any others... cudas etc

I had 5-6 brevis (6-7 inches) at different times and lost them all with in a month of introducing them to the tank due to injury. All other atf/armatus were 8" and above. i learned from a member here how to ID them. they have the lateral lines but almost no pink hue when compared to vatf/fatf - especially so below lateral line, almost no color in fins, similar tail coloration to gatf, elongated in proportion to vatf.

All of the non-GATF ATF are VATF or FATF (i can't tell the difference and no idea on source) in the video. From all the VATF/FATF fish I've seen, (undamaged) snout shape varies a lot - some asymetric, some slope down, some up - but all to a point like a beak. the brevis i had, had slight underbites.

Here's some photos of what i suspected to be brevis, a juvi and the 6-7inchers.
