Chase Bank

I have had them for 5 years, and can't complain. Customer service is good, and if you ever have any fraudulent charges, you have the money back in your account usually by the next day. I'm signed up with thier email notification plan, that they send me my balance daily, and warn me when it goes below my specified amount. It also warns me when I have any large transactions on my account. Their overlimit fee is high though, at $36 I beleive. I rack up crazy miles with their continental rewards card too. I'm happy with them.

Funny thing is all those banks are all major banks and are basically the only banks around. I've been with Chase since well...I was with one bank which kept changing over until it became Chase, but I basically have the same plan since day 1, so I haven't had any issues.

The large banks are the ones you see all around. There are many smaller banks that give MUCH better service and are more customer friendly and customer oriented. Most people use one particular bank for convenience and will put up with a lot of bs before they change banks, and banks now this!

I have used Chase for a few years. I've had no problems with them so far.

Sun is coming up in the east here in Texas, how about for you guys?

Any ideas?

I dropped them after having them for years. The idiots cashed 3 fraudulent money orders then took the money out of my account to cover their ass. Now I'm out $3000 and went to police FTC fought with chase and they said oh well not our problem. Meanwhile donating tons of money to charities every year. So much for taking care of theit loyal customers

Not if you're an investor. They are still one of the few considered to be too big to fail. They gobbled up Washington Mutual during the financial crisis.

If safety of your money is important. They're one of the safest. As for service, all banks have the same problems. The bigger ones tend to have more due to their size.

The bigger ones also tend to have bigger ATM networks where you may make withdrawals for free.

I can see what you're getting at. My original bank was a small bank that offered free checking, no fees, etc, etc. It was first called West Coast Federal and since then were bought out by Home Savings, then Washington Mutual, and is currently Chase. Even now though, it seems that nothing really changed in my plan that I can see. I still get free checking and no maintenance fee. Not sure if it's because of my original plan is still being honored or what.

I ve had an account with them from when I was in middle school lol. I never got charged any fees for opening or closing my accounts I have never had any problems with them. I get free checking no fees on my account or anything.
