Hey any new pics? One of my friends came back from thailand and he said he said he saw one of these for sale! Have you seen these too?
And I am also wondering if there are any Labeamajors or Jullienis

They usually don't live long in captivity, cuttlefish are similar and make much better pets.I have only ever seen one chambered nautilus in a shop.

What a very nice market there.. Can't find fish market with tons of nice exotic fish like that here in Indonesia..
Hope I can go there sometime.

still can't believe the prices either, what I find even more surprising is they can get every thing I've ever wanted at the market, without to much waiting. It took me 2 years to find a Florida gar in Alaska, it takes me thirty seconds at the market.
Yeah you can find gars easily in Southeast Asia, there are a lot of spatula and florida here in Indonesia. You should visit here sometime :)

I am in the States right now so I can't take pictures, but as soon as I go fish shopping when I get back to Bangkok I'll take many pictures for you, usually in the fall they get more exotic species, if I can remember correctly.

I have seen those plenty of times, the store owner thought it was half octopus and half cuttlefish.

So it is true.... the nautilus has been introduced to the pet trade, which means thousands will die due to wrong care....

It's no difference to what it is now with any other fish out there.

Yeah but the nautilus aint like other fish is it?
Other fish are at least easier to take care of but a nautilus will not survive for long in captivity
