Cheap and easy DIY wet/dry

thanks, i'm always searching eBay and buying sh)t online I dont need because its a good deal, and i might need it one day :nilly: really glad i got to use it
 
Awesome job! Just goes to show you what can be done with some imagination. Not to out show you, but, I spent the big bucks and went high tech! $15 drawer set + $9 clear plastic tub + scubbies and Biobale split from an established wet/dry. First picture test run, second, up and running in my 125g.

I considered the drawer setup since a lot of people do that but i didnt have a suitable size one at home and was trying to keep my "free" tank "free"; I had the buckets sitting in my gareage. The drawer system is convenient in that you are able to seperate and change media without disassembling the whole thing.

yea it is useful, i have somethin similar going on with my sump
