Cheap, black, inert substrate (or nutrient substrate)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well I don't want to waste this substrate. They wont be in a substrate tank until they've grown to a decent size though.

I have used this as well, it does look very nice. The two draw backs are it is very light and very abrasive.
Hhm. Sounding less and less more appealing to me. I do have corys. I may just go the black sand fluorite and stratum route. Still not sure though.

Thanks.

I had corys when I had it, they did not do well. (the black diamond blasting sand that is)

Ok, forget ti then.

Side note: Is there a thread of your salty tank? If so can I see? I love saltwater tanks. ???

I have Corys on it and they are doing great spawn every water change but I could be different grades (of sand) their tank is bigger chips and my other tank I showed you has super fine
