I'm in the uk so we sadly don't have that and a 10 gallon tank would be more like £30 but if we did have them kind of deals I would be really happy
I didn't realise you were from the UK. If you type in "aquarist classifieds" you'll come up with a treasure trove of stuff. It's a nationwide thing, not necessarily just in your region, so you may have to travel if you spot something you want.
I used to browse it all the time, less so now because I'm a bit of a "collector" shall we say. I was always tempted to buy stuff, whether I needed it or not, just in case a little project came up where I could use it. I have enough stuff lying around as it is so I had to go cold turkey on aquarist classifieds, lol.
I've seen guys on there selling multiple small tanks for cheap as chips, as long as you're willing to travel and shoehorn them all into your car. Also small LFS stores that have closed down and getting rid of all their stock pop up now and again.
Have a look at it, I'm sure you can find a load of small glass alternatives to your current idea of plastic.
