Chugger,
Did you mean to say the Pet co on 202 in King of Prussia?

I drove to the Pets mart in King of Prussia and they were not there. Since this store is technically on route 252 (runs parallel to 202) and the Pet co was actually on route 202, I decided to stop there on the way home. I snagged two @ $12.99 each. I hope they survive; they are only 1.5" and the one with the deepest red was not as healthy as the others.

I have them in the quarantine tank. I stopped going to this particular Pet co because the fish were always (and consistently) sick; no matter who was working there. Seems like things have improved. All the fish tanks looked relatively healthy.

I'll take a picture when some of their color returns. They looked pretty stressed.
yep, sorry i didn't respond faster, i have been going through some stuff with my dog lately, about his health , hopefully his issue is now taken care of

Sorry to hijack, but if anyone is near wilkes barre either pet co or pets smart have somehow mixed up their frontosa shipment and put them in with the kenyi. I asked the saleslady what the fish were, knowing they were fronts, and she told me the kenyis were female kenyis and the fronts were probably male kenyi. I have 180g of full tank space, but if I had another 180 laying around, I would be up there building a front colony :)

im from that area, ill be back in soon do they still have them?

chugger,
I hope your dog is okay. I just had my two GoldenDoodle puppies fixed today; I pick them up this evening. I'll be a bit busy taking care of them this week.

He is a picture of one of the Firefish cichlids I got that night at Pet co. Picture is a bit blurry as these fish are still very skittish. This fish is about 1 1/2" long.

Is this what a small Firefish looks like?

yep, thats how my big one looks, just so you know, they are pricks, my beats on my bigger fusco, tyrannochromis, and livinstoni, and thanks for wishing my dog well, prob with him is he is a american bulldog, any anyone who has owned a bull breed, knows they don't show pain, so it's hard to determine something is wrong until it's too late.

If they are that aggressive, I may move them into my Mbuna/Peacock tank rather that my Peacock/Hap tank.

I had both in a separate partition in the quarantine tank (two large Peacocks on the other side of the partition). The one Firefish chased the other constantly. The next day the one Firefish was in with the big Peacocks. He must have jumped over the partition wall trying to escape from the other. The one with the 4-5" Peacocks is not afraid at all. He even fights over food with them.
