Just build them in interlocking pieces and seal the joints... at least that what my old boss did.

4 4x4'S, 10 2x4 AND 2-3 SHEETS OF 3/4 PLY and you have one hell-of-a tank, bomb proof..., i would leave a bit of a lip on the bottom and the top and make the viewing window about 2'tall... and resin coat the inside, in case the easterner sand dwelling people decide to bomb britin you can hide under it...
