yeah dont mess with it. you will do more harm than good. but driftwood is a good natural way to lower your ph w/o the chemicals. my tanks consistently stays in the high 6s with a bunch of driftwood

Question?....would you want the pH to resemble the fishes natural environment if you wanted to influence spawning?
