my next project I am going to try really hard to hide all "glue".

Epoxy resin is a clear, 2 part resin that is pretty thick. After its under water you wont be able to see it at all.

Yep, West System makes 2 pt epoxy to coat stuff and make it aquarium safe.

Love the quarky tank. Dora is finally gonna get hers for having a short term memory!
 
I think coating those plastic toys probably isn't necessary.
