That's true. Years ago I had a male Eastern Box Turtle that use to try to kill toads if they got into his pen. Some of them were pretty big too.

its been awhile but i seen something on them on discovery or animal planet...think they are called terrapin turtles, and there from africa....i could be wrong....:chillpill:

My softshell bites off each & every living things...
so many times it bit my hand & feets, sleepers when i'm walking in them.
usually softshell do & can do such things.
 
When I bought my 4" Asia Giant Pond turtle, the store informed me it has killed a eaten a juvie water dragon and several small grene iguanas.
