Hey,

Well Ive taken the plunge and gotten into SW after ALOT of research and its unbelievable how exciting it is. Almost as cool as my RD :grinno:

At the moment there is a little over 10kg of LR in there and about a 1 inch aragonite bed. Its been sitting for about 3 days with 3kg of LR while I waited for the LFS to get more in and I just filled it up, the aquascape is ok for now but I will probably move stuff around a bit more later on. ENJOY!

First photo was day 1 when it was empty, 2nd when I got 3kg of LR and put it in there, other two are what it looks like now with about 10.5kg of LR.

Hey sorry for not responding.

Basically Im doing a FOWLR till I get good at keeping all the parameters like calcium and stuff at the right levels, then Ill do some corals.

And yeah Im using a cannister cause I got it for free, Im running it without mech filter pads and just have a couple trays of matrix in there.

Im using pre mixed LFS water, not sure what they use but it must be good, they have heaps of different corals.

And yeah I need to get some more flow in there definately. I wanted to get some of those koralina things but I cant find any where I live. Probably get 2 power heads today.
