I heard some people complain that the cover would come lose of the hydor koralia and chop up fish. You might want to read some more reviews on that piece.

LMAO, they are fine, use them all the time. If anyone had "fish-chopping" incidents it would be either they did not seal it completely, or the particular unit was damaged - but the product is fine overall. If you are worried about fish chopping, LOL, use a dab of silicone on either side, it will ensure nothing "pops off", and it peels right off if you need to take it apart for cleaning.

hydor koralias work like a charm. you can always order some online for a last resort. www.drsfostersmith.com has them for an okay price.

Yea, add a koralia 1 and you'll be all set! As far as the canister goes, get a bag of chempure, some live rock rubble, and some filter floss and you'll have the perfect filter! I have a 20L reef with 150w of metal halide and an AC70 and its goin great!
