I completly agree. Your 55 gallon is suitable for the RD alone.
To properly house those fish you would need at least 120 gallon tank. You must have quite the bio-load.
Nitrates must be high!

you can build a plywood tank for about half the cost of glass or acrylic! you could even go to 1000 gallons and it would prolly come out the same as a 300 glass. acrylic....filters will Bitechya in the *** though.

hes allready been doing that and so has the jag!!
first my jag killed my texas,thats when i first got them all.
then my red devil when he was little about 2in in my 10gal killed a blood parrot,a clown knife,and a oscar. so he got sent to my 55 with my other fish that were easily twice his size!!
then when he got bigger he killed my two big oscars.
and now he's trying to kill my plecos and jd
