Nice set up, but that rock work would make me a very nervous man....I'd never sleep!!

great looking set up i've been wan'ting to stack rock in my tank but i'm worried about the extra weight

Looks very nice but makes me nervous, you have some very large rocks stacked up very high . It would be easy to have some shift, especially as the fish get bigger and when it fell it could bust your tank. I use a lot of natural rockwork with my mbuna (african cichlids) i have to be careful how high i go with it for safety reasons. I would not have went as high as you did, but its your tank and it looks nice.

PS: I cracked the front glass of my fry tank this week when a empty light weight cooking pot barely bumped into the front of the glass, cracked it from top to bottom, so if something as light as that can do it by bumping into the glass imagine what a heavy rock could do. Be careful.

umm haha i know its kinda overstocked. all the cichlids are still pretty small so i will be moving them to about 3 different tanks as they grow. theres no agression right now but i do have 1 jewel, 1 gt, 2 jd, 2 convicts, 2 green texas, 3 fh, 1 midas, and 2 plecos

First pic, top middle- that looks like a tex to me. I would be worried about the rocks as well. Looks good though.

The tank looks good but like others have said BEWARE OF FALLING ROCK:clap

tank looks awesome.
and i wouldnt be too nervous about the rocks.
water is dense and it creates a cushion when it falls.
ive dropped plenty of rocks on bare bottom tanks with no effect.

the GT looks nice in that setup
