Hi guys i just change my 60g from horriable colour gravel to sand i think it looks better what do you guys think??
w/ gravel

w/ sand (still a bit cloudy)

That looks great with the sand!!!
I love the sand look.....I just set up a 20 gallon long Krib breeding tank with a sand bottom....I have fallen in love with it! It makes it look really natural!

It does make it look better, i found it cheaper than gravel, dont know about you.

I used CARIBSEA 20# bag of TORPEDO BEACH, its a really fine gravel, it looks like granuals of sugar, and its 100% natural! I actually found little twigs in it while I was rinsing it off.

(I work for a pet supply distributer so its really cheap!)

Unless its sand, its pretty much bland. Thats my motto...well, no its not, but that tank sure looks good with sand!

Thanks for the coments guys, i did it in 10-15, which included moving all the racks out as well as all the plants, then i took the gravel out, then washed the sand and put it in.
PS im only 15 (lol) and no help from mommy or daddy, cos they dont want any think to do with fish, crazy i know but hay more tank space for MY fish not theirs mine lol.
