thanks shamboner! i recently fell back into cichlids. my plans are for the jacks to go into my 120 for an all jack tank (which is already set up with a beautiful pair, that i will post later) and the 2 oscars and gt's will go into the 150(that i'm still searching for the right deal, i have a beautiful stand and canopy and all the filtration needed for the setup)into a community cichlid tank with some bottom dwellers. the community tank may or may not include both oscars and all gt's. it will just depend on their behavior to each other.

Looking good. That Pet Place is great. If you can still grab one pick up one of their yellow doviis, I think they have them labeled as yellow wolf cichlids. I got one a few months ago at about an inch and it's grown to about five an it's color is looking sick. Great fish.

yes, i took a 1.5 hr drive to get there, and honestly wasnt real impressed with the variety of fish, but am very impressed with the quality of fish. im no expert, but that jack has some great colors for only being about 1.5" as much as i would like to have a dovii, i have no place to house it at the moment. also, if your within any driving distance from frederick, md, check out rick's fish and pet. theyre pretty expensive but have some great fish.

hhahaha i love your username, and great fish as well

thanks devder1. it was from a comedy bit, cant remember who was doing it, but they talked about the creepy old guys in their mid 30's who still tried to come to high school parties and wear their varsity letter jacket
