I saw your thread about the three beacon pleco (which I love) but the video is an algae eater. Wrong video?

The picture I posted is not mine, its a friends and I been wanting to buy it from him. He bought it for 30 bucks about 5 years ago when it was 3". He doesnt even know how rare it is. I got mine at a member here from California. I owe him big time, we went thru hell just going thru shipping. Ill post pics later. Im not sure what he feeds his l24 but I think as they grow bigger, the red will intensify.

That's what I want to hear. I was thinking of changing up some of the food but I will just keep on keepin' on and see if his colors get more intense with time. He seems healthy as can be otherwise so I guess if it ain't broke...

I'm in the Fort Collins/Loveland area and it was a local guy here that just happened to have one. He bred cichlids and such and not plecos so I'm still not sure how he had this or where he got it from. I'm pretty sure that this is the only one I will see for sale locally in my life time though.
