sweet looking fish, i was in an Asian store the other day and saw this fish for 85$ about the same size as yours, i had no clue what the hell it was, but looks like an interesting monster to keep

They get on really well with oscars, i know its mixing fish that wouldnt normally be near each other but the oscars mouths are too large to cause much damage to a lung and they are also large and strong enough to not be hurt if the lung tries it

mine have never had any problems with the lung

i wouldn't recommend having gars with them though

lungs love to eat gars

My 20" annectens just ripped a huge 14" flowerhorn to shreds after the FH attacked it. Oscars are most definately not safe...It's fine with fish 99% of the time, but that 1% when something gets bit pretty much means I lose a fish.

yeah, i think it bit my gar mouth when I came home yesterday. I discover a little injury on his mouth and I'm sure it was the lung.. The gar was fine before..

ouch, well generally they have always seemed ok both privately and in the shop

i guess theres always a 1% risk with every mix though

I paid $75 for my.. my is about 18 inch long.. $70 seen to be okay.. what kind?
