Fishing in Wisconsin
Called a Jelly Cat, or perhaps a Rusty Jelly Cat. I don't know a whole lot about it other than a quick google search. When a kid brought him into the store along with 16" TSN, a 12" RTC, and a 12" Common Pleco (all from a 75g.), I thought, "I'll be hav'n that fo sho". {Superbad} Anyhow. He's about 14". I'm loving it. You can see that his barbels are a wreck probably from ammonia burn. The RTC was way worse and sadly didn't last the night.

I boxed him and got him home to share the divided 125 with my ARTC.

I hope you like him as much as I do. If you have some info or stories I would be interested.

I'm still working on the divider, but I needed it in there ASAP since the ARTC doesn't play well.

I just realized that my tank looks tiny in the picture LOL. It's all about perspective. haha. Those tiny filters are AC110's and that is a 6ft long tank.

That things SWEET! I think there also called pacamão catfish, but not sure.

Really, that sounds pretty sweet. I saw in a picture that he should have like 5" whiskers at this size, I can't wait until they grow back.

Nice cat, they are a real moody fish and love to eat :)

That's crap about the barbels, don't believe everything you read, they only have short stubby barbels ;)

Here's my old one

That is a Cephalosilurus Apurensis ( aka as Pseudopimelodus Apurensis ).

Awesome,mean cats.

You have great info ( in english ) in here: http://wolfgang-ros.de.tt/

You need, for its weel being, to provide it with a hiding place. They are highly nocturnal.

Put in a vase or something that it may use like a cave.
