Why put "doors" ? And....... seams like the room between the top of the tank and the stand is a little on the skinny side! I would have personally made the overall size of the rack taller and allowed for more room at the top of each tank between it and the stand.
Other than that..... looking good!

My Quess is so that any lights above eack tank will not directly shine in your eyes when you view the Tanks. And Also hid all the other Mechanical contraptions from plain sight. It will look be more pleasing to the eye than a cap at the top.

The stand looks great. I like the concept.

A suggestion if you havent done it already...get a couple of sandbags, or something similar, and place them on the very top of the stand. Gently rock the stand back and forth, to and fro and in a twisting motion. See how it reacts.

The reason is your stand is very high with a lot of water weight. You may need to cross brace, plywood the sides or bolt it to the wall for stability.

got da stand to my backyard.. Added another extra piece of 2x4 in the middle to make it stronger..

I started the primer this morning and letting it dry.. going to paint it black once its dry and also put some texture on the paint...
