yeah they are expensive by me too

the didn't used to be though.. seems like things have doubled in price in the last 2-3 years

i remember grammas and firefish were like $10-15 now they're like $30

total BS man...

For firefish, petco. Believe they are cheaper there, not a huge fan of chains, but not a huge fan of spending lots of cash either.
Flame angels are a considerable dent in the wallet, but I read it's more of thier popularity that keeps it inflated in price. However, what really gets me is the price of designer corals.

haha I was at quite a few stores today (I am in your area), and the cheapest I could find was $59.

59 really all those stores and cheapest was 59? Sea Cave has one in for 50.Looks like thats where I'll be picking up mine. Raised the price on the peppermints though 5.99.

Yea the guys at Salty Critter are great. But RMS is ok, theyve gone downhill IMO. Aquatic Adventure is garbage and they're going outta business. Aquatic Technoligies is another decent one I go to, out there in Columbia Station. He has satasfactory prices and the crew there seems to know what they are talkign about.

prices do suck lately. Your best bet is to become good friends with private store owners and hope they keep giving you discounts. I got lucky and my only SW store around me likes me lol, so i get about 15% off anythings. Its nice when bying ACAN corals and what not lol. Anways, very nice angel there very cool. Mine never touchs coral that notice so you should be okay, just be sure to keep him well feed.
