Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I am always very jealous of owners of Tri-macs as it is number one on my cichlid wish list. What are your plans for him as far as tank and any tankmates. I always thought I would do one as a wet pet but didn't know if that is what you were planing.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again, IMO that fish looks more like a Flowerhorn than Trimac, its still a nice fish nonetheless.

I woulds say that if you got if from Rapps you don't need to worry about this. Reputable breeders is the only place I would get a tri-mac though because of reasons like this.

Ya he's in a 45g by him self with a oleic with chewed find lol. I ordered 20 from Rapps so I have lots of females for him, he was first pick of them all. He will be moved in a 135g soon with a female.

HE'S NOT A FH LOL TRUST ME I GOT HIM FROM RAPPS!!!

Yes I have a couple to my buddy with same size fh and they look the same but 100% sure Jeff wouldn't send me fh.
 
So you are going to try and keep him and a female in a 135 then? I hope it all works and that you continue to update with pics. Great looking fish.
