ok, so i picked this trimac up thinking it was a fh (thats what my lfs had it labeled at). so i posted a thread in the hybrid section and thats where i was informed it was a female trimac. regardless, i like the fish and i needed a change from my african cichlids anyway! i coudnt find a whole lot on this but i basically put together the following: females have potential to reach about 12" and territorial and should be kept with other robust cichlids. right now she's in a 55g w 2 red blood parrots. later on shell be moved to my 120g. basica water parameters are ammonia-0, nitrite-0 nitrate 10ppm and ph-7.4 with a rena xp3 as filtration. white gravel (any suggestions on that if i should change it) and im going to get a background today. first pic is of fish, which is about 5" and second is whole tank shot. thanks for your input!
