How long have you had your tex? I've had mine for about 5 months. He was tiny when I got him, probably 3/4 in. He has grown considerably since, but nothing like his future tankmates (oscars). :headbang2
 
Well I finally got my new 125g set up and running. I removed the Gt from the 55g, so now the stock list for the 55 is -1male texas, 1male con, 2 female cons, and 1 giant danio. The stocklist for the 125g is 1 tiger oscar, 1 albino oscar, 1 jaguar, 1 Gt, 3 silver dollars, 1 pictus catfish, 1 pleco. Here a some pics for your viewing pleasure!:headbang2

Nice tex, i wnat one, but ive heard they grow slow like i just read, another thing is i heard they definatly protect the other fish from the bad ass ones...nice tank by the way
 
Well, I wouldn't say that they grow slow, just not as fast as say... oscars. And pretty much he is the bad *** of the tank. He bosses everyone around, but that is part of the reason I like him so much... personality.
