I think, when pbass eat live food such as goldfish they have a good chance of getting hole in the head disease.

Feeders can carry a lot of diseases and Its a heck of a lot cheaper feeding them frozen shrimp from the market

Well, I got him off live food. It took about 3-4 days before he started eating freeze dried blood worms. At first he ate them then spit them out, now he eats them just fine. I still give him some minnows every now and then. It's ridiculous how many he can eat.

Get your balas up much larger before you try that combo...they can get large, but take a long time to reach those sizes. Chances are the pbass and aro. will QUICKLY out grow and eat them! Other consern would be the demp. They don't get quite as large as the regular demp. so there might be a prob. Keep your temps up to at least 82 degrees so you can fight off the dreaded ich that they are prone to! best of luck yo! Loved my orinos when i had them!
