So can I collect the "smallest fish caught on a hook" award. I actually caught two or three that were even smaller, but I didn't have my camera then. For their size though, I think they are very beautiful. They should be awesome when they reach 5 or 6 inches, which I'm hoping will happen around next spring.

Wow, no comments? Nice looking little guys, but you don't get the smallest fish on a hook award. You really need to get inventive for that one. In college my roommate and I wanted a sunfish reef- but we only had a 10g to do it. We got the rock set up then started stocking. Got between 7-11 sunfish in there. Caught them on bent staples- now THAT'S how you get growouts!

use a small ice fishing jig instead of a normal hook then you'll really catch some mini ones
