Yep. It's so interesting that jags made it through at Utah, I never knew that, I wonder who is responsible? :confused:
 
That's interesting and sad. I especially appreciate the part about how cichlids and sunfish and basses are similar in body structure, so they behave similarly. With no knowledge of genetics and limited knowledge of taxonomy (which is largely based on opinions) I have previously formulated the opinion that these North American natives are more closely related to cichlids than the current taxonomy suggests. Go out to your local lake and catch a native cichlid! Feel free to flame me now.
 
Aqua Mojo hit it right on the money it is really bad-especially if they flourish and in a few years Jags become illegal-a lot of people dislike me because I question their set-ups but a lot of folks already have a fully stocked tank and keep on buying fish and either dump them in a lake or river or give them to a LFS which in turn sells them to another irresponsible person.
