inbred over 20 years?
the black eyed leucistic is the homozygous form of the fire, a "super" fire if you will.

Where are you getting your info from?

The poster above nailed it.

That's a REALLY NICE Snake. Are the pupils really red or is that photoshopped?

I'm not naming any names, but certain breeders "enhanced" photos they published online to promote the fire morph and the black-eyed leucy that is its super form.

Anyone who's ever seen one in real life knows that 1) the pupil is not red, and if it is, the naked eye can barely see it and 2) black eyed leucistics are not a completely white snake. They have splotches of yellow that go down their back that get more obvious as they grow into adulthood.

There is a good example of what a black eyed leucy REALLY looks like on Snakebytes TV around 3:16 seconds into the clip below:

Its definitely an impressive animal but still shouldn't be advertised and represented as something it is not.

The only truely white ball python I've seen is a lesser x lesser blue eyed leucy.

That looks like a pic you got from constrictors.com.......is this true??? They are beautiful and worth a good amount of money.

Spots or no spots, I think that the animal is beautiful.

I don't understand why people have altered photos and fought so hard to protray it as an "all white" snake...what's the big deal if it's not?
