Hey searcyb, you asked about age and size, so I thought I'd tell you about "Bubbles". She was a P.ornatipinnis that grew to be 24 inches and 20 years old, and had she not escaped from the tank might have even gotten bigger! So if they're well taken care of and with a little bit of luck, can be very long lived! :) Johnathan
 
Those are some great looking delhezi. Is it true that they are trying to selectively breed some without the black bars and patterns? Thats IMO what make delhezi so cool looking.

actually there are already farm-bred ones without patterns for quite some time, but i don't know if they are bred selectively or not.
