werdna hows frank doing?

i like the indoor pond set-up , how did you do it

pond is a 150 gallon rubbermaid agriculture watering tank and the filter is an old 29 gallon that i made into a filter but the best part is that all the clean water is pushed under the gravel in a huge undergravel filter setup on the reverse flow principle it moves 1100 gallons an hour then in the main part of the pond i have a whisper 30 setup just to add surface aggitation and a little current there are about twenty in here i would keep them all but i got them to help people around here get quality aros they came from south america not a lfs next time i am ordering like 200 then i will keep alot of them and maybe breed them but for now i am only keeping 2 of the babies one because his coloring is so much lighter than all the others i think that he wil be awesome full grown oh heres more pics of the pond when i first set it up the pond only cost me 3-400 dollars and thats completely setup filter heaters pump and all :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 would gladly help anyone build an indoor pond of any sort i also have liner ponds i just moved to my new house though so i havent set them back up yet first i am gonna build a new one for my monsters i have now tis gonna b a 7500 gallon raceway

Nice that is a good setup you have going there.

thanks it was a little trial and error getting the sump filter working right but now its all good it was the easiest thing to build too the worst part was waiting for the sillicone to dry and waiting for my new babies to come of course i had it set up for like 2 months before i had the babies shipped thats why i put the danios and barbs in there to help the bacteria colonize they also bred like mad and clean up the food off the bottom pretty well but my 75' python makes cleaning the pond a breeze

Do you ever get wild baby aros in or are they all farm raised? I have been curious about raising a wild caught one for a while, particularly to see if it develops drop eye. Also, do you ever import blacks?
