i think they also do this kind of procedure to other tropical fishes right? like parrots? they take the tail fin off. i think its quite sadistic. people will do anything in breeding and selling fishes
I've also heard that certain other fish are bred to be "tailless" I know they chop discus tail off. I hope that the aro's tail wasnt hacked off. Maybe a genetic defect?
Yeah, I think you'd have a pretty hard time gettin two fish like this to breed, or even finding two fish like this at all. I think its just a gen. def. Looks old and healthy though.
