Its probably from the africans all my mutt fry look striped. I doubt it was a convict because they would probably be fighting off the other fish to protect them. And the oscars and FH are too young.

Yeah the oscars are about 1.5 inches and the FH is about 2 inches. I have no idea where this dude came from. I had a 5 inch Acei cichlid in there but just moved him out. Other than that all the Africans are 3 inches and under.

my best guess would be the big one laid eggs and one of ur little guys fertilized em, (or vice versa) - either way hope he survives
