Louie were very fortunate here in S Fl any species can survive here, the thing that would threaten varanids would be the cane toad. Tegus live amongst them in South America, so I dont think they would be a threat. Cane toads is the biggest reason why I dont have outdoor enclosures I only kept animals outdoors that have been acustomed to living amongst them in their native habitat, I never kept Tegus... but I did/do keep cyclura outdoors.

Oh Rock iguana ?

I would have thought to chilly for them as though today 80 or bit more some nights it been high 50s

They do just fine in S fl outdoors, their natural habitat is only a few hundred miles away and cuba only a stones throw away.

Theyre much to valuable to just let them go, theyre all threatened and by cb production is the only way well get to enjoy them in the future, because its illegal, (very illegal) to take them out of the wild now.

I know lol..... their prices are pretty fair right now though I am seeing some Cubans for sale at 125 a piece in LPS here in S FLorida

too late I bought it,I put it in a 40 gallon breeder with all my tarantulas and a few hot rocks.Gumballs for substrate.I keep it right by a sunny window so I dont need lighting and I use my sub woofer box for the tank stand,so far so good.

sounds good, just remember they do better if you blast heavy metal apposed to rap.
