I don't disagree but it would be pretty cool to drive all the way through mexico and central america. We could stop and collect some cool C. American cichlids along the way.

Driving through Central and South America is ill advised. Too many Americans end up as kidnapping targets.

Anyway... Those are some great looking cichla, both in the link and the pics you posted. Very cool!

I think that is a pinima or a temensis, not 100% sure though

Actually, there are no kelberi pictured. I see tems, piquiti and possibly a pinima.

Baby kelberi look almost identical to baby monos.
