Shortbody Red Dragon and by the looks of it is suffering from dropsy and duck lips which if its the case won't live much longer.
Maybe cuz his stomach is filled with a ton of feeders lol.. Idk about this duck lips thing but he doesn't look sick at all darts around the tank and chases your finger :/ ?

that is a good quality and beautiful FH. Duck lips going on. But that's a great fish. I'd use it for breeding..
Been into FHs for some years and seen many many many FHs. I still think Trimac trait carrying FHs are the the coolest and some of the most beautiful.. I need a real Trimac so I can create more FHs like this.

Awesome! I like the more Trimac colored ones also, think this guy will get pretty big in size? It's hump just keep getting bigger. Kind of has a gold sheen to it under light

Duck lips is VERY serious. Your FH will most likely die or develop other problems from this. Also the overall quality will be drastically reduced. Biggest thing...DO NOT FEED YOUR FH FEEDER FISH. Lots of people say it's good. IT IS NOT! Feeder fish is probably the WORST thing you can give your FH. Unless you are breeding the feeders yourself, odds are they are coming from the LFS or Petsmart/Petco. These fish will almost always carry a plethora of diseases and infections which will carry on to your fish. Pellets and frozen food is always the better choice. Pellets are specially formulated to contain what your fish need. Feeders only really provide protein and disease. If you are dead set on giving them feeders, I would quarantine the feeders for several weeks or even months and treat any signs of illness, but even then you are still taking a risk.
