Not exactly most of the sturgeon you will see in the wild now a days are adults and very few juvis out there.

Its due to the fact that they're a lot of dams being built or already built that keep theses sturgeon land locked in their rivers, so you have these fish that can't swim up river to spawn. I'm afraid the population of sturgeon is on the decline...

Was talkin about monsters fish in general not just sturgeon. Just because there are some you hardly ever see monster sized ones like that caught. It would be nice if the rivers were left undisturbed so these giants could thrive. The paddlefish is also goin through the same struggle because of dams as well as many species.
