35 gallon stand up octagon tank and stand. Pressed wood oak finish. Lid, light, filter, tank accessory, and cleaning supplies included. Great for a small area, fits right into the corner of a room. 360 design allows to see all fish and sides. Can be used for fresh or salt water fish. Price negotiable. Pictures upon request. Serious inquiries only please. Thank you.

Why would someone put this in the corner of their room and not take advantage of being able to see fish from any side of the tank??? Tanks like that are so rare! lol

Probably because unless it has a really wide base on the stand, it will be top heavy. In the middle of a room it's more likely to be bumped and tip over. I don't think I'd risk a tank in the middle of a room unless it was 75g or more to give it enough of a footprint to resist tipping.

Edit: Get a pic for it. $300 is a lot for a 35g anyway ($8.5/Gallon anyone?), and I'd bet it's a Hexagon, not an Octagon. If it truely is an Octagon though, might be worth a little more just cause you don't see them all that often. Still wouldn't pay $300 though.

check the silicone seals to make sure that they are fresh and not rotting away, otherwise you will be looking at a future re-seal.
also, if you see any algea between the silicone and glass it will need resealing.

I didn't mean to post it in this thread! I had a tab open for the crazy craiglisters thread too and I must've mixed them up. I apologize for the mishap!

I'd think that is expensive

Around here, its pretty cheap. Most used takns are not cheap. A used 55g with stand and light will fetch $150-200.
