If you got wep enabled (encryption) then the connection will be slower then wired. But note that if wep is disabled basically anyone will be able to connect to your connection and use it to do whatever and that is besides the fact that they will be able to view your network shares.

i hate those speed tests.....it's not like you're actually capable of downloading something at those speeds. i just tested 848kb/s here at work. try downloading something off of ftp and watch the average speed.....that's more correct.

this is cool as hell but how the hell are you guys getting such fast speeds?? I have cable internet but it only reads 647.8 kbps. I thought this was the fastest you could get.
