I figure I’ll get one last cheers in before these guys go to their new home.
Just some catfish and a dull peacock cichlid but cheers just the same!
It's like a dry martini : six parts bubbly and one part dechlor.
My old Oscar tank is now my patio tank while Felix the Oscar's awaiting his new acrylic tank. This looks like a simple setup except in order to achieve that I had to remove a fireplace and tear down a termite infested chimney.
I had to reframe my roof and resheet it and shingle it, and I did hire out most of the labor for that.
I replaced my ugly wood and stucco chimney with an attractive fake Barnwood "door" to back up the new patio systems.

These plecos are slightly different strains but they are both male and they fight. I had them together in a 30 which was a total disaster, and they were about three inches shorter then.
By the way these guys will eventually graduate to a pond, which has gotten the wifely approval. The way they're eating up this new NLS algae Max they are going to blow the sides out of this 55 in a very short time.
