Replacing a ungrounded circuit was the main reason. It fed half of my first floor. Old wall paper has been in that hallway since I bought my house and new rock was easier then trying to skim coat the old rock.

Yeah, I did some wallpaper removal and texture applied by hand when we moved in here and it was a pain in the tuckus.

I put up a ceiling in my garage, and that’s the only serious sheet rock work I’ve ever done.

It is also the last major sheet rock work I will ever do! LOL
