As previously stated, crispy water is all mechanical filtration and water changes. That being said, I do run chemi-pure in my tanks, probably out of habit more than anything. It was recommended to me about 15 years ago to run in my salt tank and I've been using it in all of my tanks since. I've never had any issues with clarity in any of my tanks, so I stick with it because if it ain't broke...

Chemi pure really seems to work wonders on the way all of my SW tanks have always looked - never had issues chemically (water quality) wise in my tanks, but there was just something after you added it (the way the water looked, and the way the fish behaved) that made it seem worth it.
Tank is looking great and my fish are ravenous, so I guess Ill leave it be.
