Thank You! This is my first time having just a shrimp tank :D. I have another shrimp tank but with fish in it. Would love to put some fish in there but the baby shrimp might get eaten.

One question though! Is it okay to put a pleco in there?

I would say no, they might just be a pest to the shrimp of constantly stress them out.

No plecos. But I would add Ottos instead.

Ohh yea i forgot all about oto's! The reason i asked you guys if i can add a pleco is because i want to know if they might eat the babies. Im worried because this is going to be my breeding colony. Thank you guys!

since you are starting your own business, why would you risk the very first colony? Just don't mix anything with them till maybe the 3rd or 4th
Generation incase something bad happens.

Small pleco or octo will be fine with the shrimp, except they will take away much of the shrimps food.

I wouldn't add a pleco because even the smallest of pleco could eat them or their babies.

At min stress them out so that the breeding you want is curtailed.

If you want fish consider White clouds or small middle, top swimming fish but fish like plecos that hug ornaments which shrimp seek out are no good.
