Had to go Chevy love the new Camaro, though I must admit the Stang has some *****in' lines. Still I love the all out muscle of the Camaro always have always will. It's like a choice of handling or power. The Stangs always handled better then the Camaro, but the Camaro always out powered it. Plus I like a car that takes skill to drive hard. Love breaking the rear wheels free to take a corner hard. Car's rears sliding out and when she's pointed in the right direction mash that gas!!!!!
I've never owned a Ford or Chevy passenger car, but I've driven plenty of Chevy/Ford trucks and vans at work over the years. I have owned one Chevy truck and one Ford. I prefer Chevy, but not by that big of a margin.
Mostly it comes down to the steering. Chevy trucks/vans don't seem to get as loose in the steering with age as Fords. Dodge are the worst, in my experience.
I voted Chevy, but the only American made vehicle I own right now is our motor home on a Ford V10 powered chassis. I do love the V10, it gets considerably better mileage than either the 460 or 454 and has plenty of power.
