It took 1 week to get him on anything prepared. The way I did it was puting him in a 58 gallon bow with a wet/dry for a 180, If you drop any food around it moved so fast that he would just grab it. The current puts alot of pressure on him to eat, now he is in a different setup, but hey don't ask me, I did this crap for like 25yrs. Anyways, I will grow him out for awhile and offer him again if you guys want him bigger, but, the fish is so cool at this size. If I keep it, the fish will go to my friends pond, then we will give him to John, he has raised them very large.
