Btw I've read somewhere , an arowana breeder who feeds his aros pork .
I tried chicken breast my aro seem to love the meat.
I guess will include this in their diet , will try egg white tomorrow

Yeah I was just curious about if they would eat the yoke or not, figured it would be messy but had planned a large W/C today anyways. Not sure the blacks will ever learn to eat the eggs as they don't swallow anything whole as the silvers do. They seem to "chew" larger lives of food before swallowing it. Maybe I'll feed try smaller pellet sized pieces.

my 6" jar only feed on boiled chicken pcs he wont take anything apart from it.
might try the chicken breast and egg whites for my fish. Currently my jar, bichir and stingray are on regular diet of diced pork heart and basa fish fillet.
My jar only eat chicken nothing else and he is very healthy............ every body told me that chicken is not a proper thing to feed aros but they seems to love it very much ......... if i give him krill, shrimp, pallet or anything else he only go for the chicken breast .........
i would think from what ive read on here chicken will do them harm in the long run, most fish dont have the ability to break down bird or mammal meat/fat properly... that being said london aquarium feed their 3ft asian aro whole dead chicks/chicken.
Thats why I always feed him boiled chicken because the fat has been removed after boiling ........ so its easy to digest for any arowana ...........
Can you post some photos of your jar?
