Chickens!!

That's cool.My kitchen would be like Boston Market every day.
 
Ive been told many times, once youve tried fresh fresh poultry, youll never go back to store bought again , so Id definately like to give it a try. Id keep some turkeys in the mix as well, anyone know if they are noisy??
 
Good question I don'tknow if the roosters make their noise throughout the day or not.

I think Philly has a no-farm-animal city limits rule... Unless you need them for your Santaria rituals..
 
You you can't just keep chickens in a gated community or newer neighborhood homes that have home owner's association lol. Right at dawn the roosters start crowing

Where I live I might even get complaints although my property is half acre so maybe if I do it, I'll just raise some hens for my dad and get the eggs

Probably right...seems quite a few people ignore that ordinance though as in this area alone there are cocks in people's backyards....

I remember seeing on the news long ago a family got their rooster's vocal cord surgically fixed by their vet so they wouldn't have to give him up.

Hahaha....this is bound to lure Eddie out of hiding...Oddly enough Maxx,there are also a santaria shops around here...I went in one just to look around and there was some pretty creepy and cool looking items on display.
