The reasons she disagreed with him is because he totally butchered the story line in the second one with the gangster robots and other stuff. All he goes for is special effects and she tried to tell him it would screw the storyline up and she was right.

what i took from the context of her comment was that he ran the actors around working long hours and had specific views and didn't budge on them....like a dictatorship. she choose a poor word and got canned for it.
